  9. It's of can tomato sauce.
  10. It's of diced tomato's (undrained).

  12. You need of med. cut tomato (for garnish).
  13. You need of finely shredded Mexican cheese.
  14. Prepare of beer (I use Budweiser).

  1. Add pinto beans to a large pot and cover with cool water (at least a few inches above the beans as they will expand). Soak for at least 6 hours or overnight* uncovered at room temperature..
  2. Once beans are soaked, drain and set aside..
  3. Next add drained beans and cover with water about 2 inches over the top, as the beans will expand while cooking. Add the chopped garlic..
  4. Set heat to low or medium-low and simmer for 40-50 minutes.
  5. Brown ground beef and onion..
  6. Combine all ingredients to the cooked beans except for shredded cheese and garnish items..
  7. Cook for an additional 35 minutes on med-low heat..
  8. Add the cheese and cover long enough for the cheese to melt..
  9. To finish add a dollop of sour cream to the individual servings along with the fresh cut tomatoes..
