Bacon and egg pie step by step

  1. Grease a deep dish with oil or butter and lay out your pastry puff sheets. Cook until golden and puffed..

  3. Whip up your eggs, add salt and pepper, cheese, pasta (optional), bacon, zucchini and stir. Add milk..

  6. Once egg mixture on the pastry is nice and firm..i add the toppings (mushrooms, onions and tomatoes on top of egg / bacon evenly and sprinkle dried garlic and mixed herbs on top. I place back into oven until topping looks just to your liking..
  7. Add chips / fries or a fresh salad in the side..

This is my mum's, so the BEST pie ever! It is fantastic served with ketchup and in my opinion is probably better cold. Chop the parsley (one whole packet). Mix the parsley and bacon in with the egg mixture. Cover with other sheet of pastry and crimp together.
