Ingredients of Paratha
- Prepare 1 cup of wheat flour.

Paratha step by step
- Add wheat flour, salt and oil to a bowl and mix it together (don't knead yet)..
- Try to make a fist out of the mixture; if the flour sticks together and stays, the consistency is good. If not, add more oil..
- Slowly add water and knead. Dough should be soft, but not loose..
- Make small balls and roll out parathas..
- Heat up a tawa/pan on medium flame. Once hot, place the rolled paratha on it..
- Cook till slightly brown (should see the paratha swelling; water in the dough is evaporating!) and then flip. Cook the other side and flip again..
- Turn the heat to low and add some oil/ghee to the sides. Cook for a few seconds. Flip and cook the other side. Paratha is ready!.
