  1. You need 2.5 pounds of beef flank steak.
  2. It's of Vegetable oil for sautéing (enough to coat bottom of pan).
  3. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of Black pepper.
  4. Prepare of Fresh minced garlic (6 cloves).
  5. Prepare 1 of onion, sliced.
  6. It's 1/2 cup of cooking sherry.
  7. You need 1 can of Condensed Tomato Soup.
  8. You need 1 can of beef broth.
  9. It's 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper.
  10. Prepare 2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
  11. It's 3 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce.
  12. It's 1/8 teaspoon of ground ginger.
  13. You need 1 (12 oz) of bag frozen cut broccoli (or larger).
  14. You need 1/4 cup of brown sugar.

Beef and broccoli is a classic Chinese-American dish that I am particularly obsessed with. But I wouldn't call my recipe traditional. The sauce calls for garlic, broth, soy sauce, lime juice, and Sriracha—ingredients that I personally always have on hand in my kitchen. This classic Chinese beef and broccoli recipe is quick and easy to make homemade, and tastes even better than the restaurant version!

Beef 🥩 and Broccoli 🥦 instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry your steak.......
  2. Slice steak into thin strips.....
  3. Place steak strips into a pan that has been heated with vegetable oil and fry strips until almost brown, then add some black pepper to strips and your minced garlic.......
  4. Next add your sliced onion and sauté all until onion is slightly wilted......
  5. Remove steak and onion from pan and set to the side......
  6. In the same pan that you used for the steak add your cooking sherry and boil until sherry is slightly reduced......
  7. Add to that pan : the condensed tomato soup, beef broth, crushed red pepper, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and ginger......
  8. Stir well and cook on low heat for about 20 minutes.......
  9. Now add your frozen broccoli and heat until broccoli is tender.....
  10. Now add your brown sugar and cook until slightly thickened....
  11. Next add your steak that you put off to the side and mix all well, boil for about 5 minutes.....
  12. Remove from heat and serve over white rice and enjoy 😉!!.
