Dal doodhi step by step
- Wash both Dal together and cook by adding turmeric for 2 whistles.
- Cube bottle gourd and cook for 2 whistles.
- Now prepare masala for the Dal,take oil add cumin seeds let it crackle add onion and cook till translucent.
- To this add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes and cook till tomatoes get cooked and raw smell of ginger garlic paste vanishes.
- Add all the dry masala except garam masala powder,salt and cook.
- Add Dal to the masala with bottle gourd and leave on sim for 10 minutes.
- Lastly add coriander leaves and garam masala powder.
